The Longhorns have an overall 7-5 record in its fourth appearance in the EA SPORTS Maui Invitational. It is the first year UT has lost twice in an Invitational. The Longhorns will conclude play in Maui on Wednesday against Mississippi State in the 7th place game at 1:30 p.m. CT on ESPNU.

Julien Lewis led the Longhorns with 17 points on 6-of-8 shooting. It is the fourth time of his career that Lewis has paced the team in scoring. Lewis reached double-figures in scoring for the second this season and the 12th time in his career. Lewis' two 3-pointers were the only two that Texas made on Tuesday, extending a team streak of 726 games with at least one trey.
Javan Felix has played in 153 of the team's 165 total minutes this season. With eight assists on Tuesday, he has 5+ assists in three of four games this season (averaging 5.75 apg).
Sheldon McClellan reached double-figures in scoring (11 points) for the fourth time this season and the 24th time of his career (37 games).
Prince Ibeh recorded four of Texas' seven blocks. Three of Ibeh's blocks came in the first half as Texas out-blocked USC, 5-1,
Ioannis Papapetrou tied a season-high 10 points on 3-of-7 shooting and converting all four free throw attempts. He also scored 10 points in an Opening Game of the EA SPORTS Maui Invitational against Coppin State (11/12).
Jonathan Holmes led the Horns with nine rebounds. Holmes is averaging 9.5 rpg after four games.
