Baseball opens up fall schedule at Baylor on Sunday
Oct. 10, 2008 AUSTIN, Texas -- The Texas Longhorns kickoff their fall baseball campaign when they travel to Waco on Sunday for a 1:30 p.m. contest against the Baylor Bears. Admission to the game is free at Baylor Ballpark, but fans are asked to bring non-perishable food donations, which will go directly to the Caritas-Waco food bank. The Longhorns are slated to play four games this fall, all on Sundays. On October 19 the Longhorns host the Rice Owls at The Dell Diamond in Round Rock, Texas. The Horns return the favor on October 26, traveling to Houston to play Rice. Texas caps off fall ball with a game at UFCU Disch-Falk Field on Nov. 2. It will mark the first game for the Longhorns on the newly installed FieldTurf.
