TEXAS TERRITORY
• With 97 career pitching appearances, Austin Wood is three games away from becoming just the fourth pitcher in UT history to appear in 100 games or more in a career and he is nine appearances shy of the school record. Currently fourth on the all-time list, he trails only Randy Boone (106), J. Brent Cox (106) and Huston Street (105) on Texas' career list.
• With his next stolen base, Travis Tucker will move into a tie with Nick Peoples for 10th place on UT's career stolen base list. The senior second baseman has 50 career steals, including seven in 2009.
• Brandon Belt has hit safely in his last 11 games, Texas longest hit streak of the season. Belt, who has warmed up to hit .383 in Big 12 play, is batting .458 (22-of-48) with five doubles, two triples and one home run during the 11-game stretch. The streak includes seven multi-hit games. Kevin Keyes enters the Oklahoma series with a career-best nine-game hit streak.
