Fan Appreciation Day set for this Saturday at UFCU Disch-Falk Field

The Texas Baseball program will host Fan Appreciation Day this Saturday (Feb. 2) before the Alumni Game, scheduled for a 2 p.m. start at UFCU Disch-Falk Field. Gates will open at 11:30 a.m. as the 2013 Longhorn players will sign autographs from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Bevo will be available for photo opportunities from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. as well. Admission and parking for Saturday's game will be free. Season schedule posters and a limited number of UFCU logo baseballs will be available for autographs. Due to NCAA compliance issues, outside items may not be brought to the event. Any item provided by UT is for personal use only and is not intended for sale. Children wishing to "play catch" in the outfield will be able to do so from 12:15 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. before the alumni batting practice takes place from 1 to 1:30 p.m. Fans are encouraged to bring their baseball gloves. A limited supply of free hotdogs and sodas will be available for fans on a first-come, first-served basis.
