Baseball set to hold annual Women's Clinic on Feb. 12

AUSTIN, Texas -- The Longhorns will hold the 11th annual University of Texas Baseball Women's Clinic presented by St. David's HealthCare on Tuesday, Feb. 12. The event will take place from 6-8 p.m. at the The Club on the eighth floor of the Red McCombs Red Zone on the north side of DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium. Head coach Augie Garrido, the UT coaching staff and members of the Longhorns baseball team will be on hand for an evening of fun surrounding America's favorite pastime. They will be joined by special guest emcee Keith Moreland, a three-time All-American and member of the 1975 National Championship team. The evening, which will include dinner, cash bar and door prizes, features a discussion of strategies of the game, rules and scoring procedure and a player Q&A period, as well as a highlight film from the 2012 season and preview of the upcoming season. The deadline for registration is Feb. 3, but early sign-up is encouraged as seating is limited. The fee for the evening is $30.
