2011 highlights
• Pitched 1.0 scoreless inning of relief giving up only walk and striking out one against Maryland (2/20).
• Threw 2.0 innings of relief, allowing two hits, no earned runs and striking out two against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (4/5).
• Pitched 3.0 perfect innings in relief with four strikeouts against Dallas Baptist (4/12).

• Appeared in three games, registering a 0-0 record with a 3.00 ERA and four strikeouts (two walks) in 3.0 innings.
2010 highlights
• Worked 1.0 scoreless inning, walking one vs. Iowa (3/14).
• Fanned two of the threee batters he faced in 1.0 shutout inning vs. Texas A&M at the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship (5/29).
• Started seven games for the Wareham Gatemen of the Cape Cod Baseball League, logging an 1-4 record with a 5.26 ERA and 24 strikeouts (17 walks) in 39.1 innings.
• Pitched 7.0 scoreless innings in his only Cape Cod League postseason appearance, holding the to four hits and four walks while striking out six in a 3-2 win vs. the Bourne Braves.
HIGH SCHOOL
• A four-year varsity letterwinner and two-year captain as a pitcher, first baseman and third baseman for Coach Chris Payne at Dripping Springs (Texas) High School.
• Earned First Team All-District 25-4A honors as a pitcher following senior season.
• Logged a 9-2 record with six complete games, a 1.20 ERA and 78 strikeouts in 58.1 innings and hit .483 with 18 doubles and 28 RBI in 2009.
• Garnered First Team All-District 25-4A accolades as a first baseman in 2008, batting .363 with seven doubles, one triple, two home runs and 20 RBI in 28 games.
• Also posted a 6-4 record with one save, a 1.40 ERA and 98 strikeouts in 60 innings as a junior.
• Participated in the 12th annual Texas Scouts Association Invitational and invited to Perfect Game WWBA World Championship in 2008.
• Tabbed First Team All-District 10-5A by the Dallas Morning News as a sophomore in 2007.
• Earned all-district honorable mention as a freshman.
• Helped Austin Wings to Premier Junior national titles in 2008 and 2009, including posting a 6-0 record in 2009.
• Drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the 19th round of the 2009 MLB First-Year Player Draft.
