2011 highlights
• Pitched 1.0 perfect innings of relief with one strikeout against Stanford (3/5).
• Threw 1.2 innings of scoreless relief scattering one hit and one walk and striking out two against Oklahoma State (3/27).
• Earned his first career win after pitching 2.1 innings of scoreless relief with two strikeouts against Dallas Baptist (4/12).
• Pitched 2.2 scoreless innings of relief, striking out three against Texas State (4/26).
• Threw a perfect 5.0 innings in his first start of his career, earning the win while striking out four (4/3).
• Pitced 3.2 scoreless innings of relief, allowing only two hits while striking out four against Nebraska (5/8).
• Tossed a perfect 1.0 innings of relief with two strikeouts against Texas Southern (5/14).
• Pitched 2.2 scoreless innings of relief while striking out two against Texas A&M (5/21).
• Threw 3.2 innings of relief, allowing only one run off of three hits and one walk while striking out seven to earn the win in the NCAA Baseball Austin Regional against Kent State (6/5).
HIGH SCHOOL
• A four-year letterwinner as a designated hitter and pitcher under Coach Connie Cochran at Cedar Park (Texas) High School.
• Named district MVP, first-team all-state (DH) and third-team all-state (P) as a senior.
• Served as team captain as a senior.
• Tabbed a first-team all-district pitcher as a junior.
• Named first-team all-district, first-team All-Central Texas as a designated hitter as a sophomore.
• Also lettered in football for Coach Chris Ross where we won district offensive MVP as a quarterback his senior year.
• Played shortstop and pitcher for the Action Baseball Club in the summers for Coach Keith Jackson.

Born Nathan Charles Thornhill on September 26th, 1991 in Austin, Texas ... son of Mike and Tisha Thornhill ... has three sisters - Rebekah, Hannah and Marah, and one brother - Darren ... grandpa, Jerry Thornhill, is a UT alum ... interested in majoring in corporate communications.
