Threw a perfect 5.0 innings in his first start of his career, earning the win while striking out four (4/3).

Named first-team all-district, first-team All-Central Texas as a designated hitter as a sophomore.
Also lettered in football for Coach Chris Ross where we won district offensive MVP as a quarterback his senior year.
Played shortstop and pitcher for the Action Baseball Club in the summers for Coach Keith Jackson.
