2011 highlights
• Logged his first career hit pinch-hitting against Stanford (3/5).
• Hit 1-for-2 with one run and two RBI in the night cap against Texas Southern (5/14).
HIGH SCHOOL
• A two-year varsity letterwinner as a shortstop for Coach Chad Krempin at Central High School in San Angelo, Texas.
• Hit .429 with 56 runs scored, nine doubles, six triples, 24 RBI and 40 stolen bases as a senior.
• Named All-West Texas Team MVP and All-District 2-5A as a senior.
• Served as team captain as a senior and earned All District 2-5A as a junior.
• Batted .388 with nine doubles, four triples and three home runs as a junior.
• Played for Austin Wings summer club for Coach Marcus Hendry.
• Earned Academic All-State, finished in the top 10% of his class and was a member of the National Honor Society.
