Went 2-for-3 with one double and one hit-by-pitch in the season-opening game against New Mexico (2/19).
Hit 2-for-2 with two runs, one home run, two RBI and three walks in the second game of the series versus No. 18 Stanford (2/27).

Appeared in 55 games, including 47 starts, as a sophomore, batting .260 with 27 runs, 13 doubles, two triples, two home runs, 21 RBI and four stolen bases.
Played in 25 Big 12 games, including 24 starts, hitting .247 with 11 runs, seven doubles, one home run, 13 RBI and one stolen base.
2009 HIGHLIGHTS
Batted .455 (5-for-11) with four runs, one double and one RBI in the season-opening four-game series against UIC (2/20-22).

HIGH SCHOOL
· Four-year letterwinner in baseball and two-year captain at Flower Mound (Texas) High School for Coach Steve Stinson.
· Batted .390 with four home runs, 29 RBI, 22 stolen bases and 47 runs as a senior to help the Jaguars to a 29-4 record.
· Tabbed All-District 6-5A, preseason all-state and first-team all-area his senior year.
· Earned All-District 8-5A and second-team all-area honors after batting .454 with 40 runs, two home runs, 38 RBI and 24 stolen bases as a junior.
· Played third base for the Dallas Tigers in the summer of 2006 under Coach Linty Ingram.
· Led the Tigers to a 45-6 record and third-place finish at the 2006 Connie Mack World Series, hitting.424 with 19 doubles, nine home runs and 59 RBI.
