• Named Academic All-State by the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association and earned his team's Coach's Leadership Award as a senior.
• Helped squad to a District 13-5A championship and regional quarterfinal appearance as a senior, batting .202 with 13 runs, 20 hits, four doubles and four RBI.
• Batted .231 with two runs, 10 hits, and three RBI as a junior.
Played catcher for Coach Ray Deleon's Banditos Baseball in the summer.
