• Appeared in eight Big 12 games, including five starts.

2009 HIGHLIGHTS
•Went 2-for-2 with one double, two walks, one run and two RBI in his first collegiate game against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (4/15).
•Logged two walks, one run and one RBI in his first Big 12 start against No. 10 Oklahoma (4/19).
•Batted 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI in series opener against No. 23 Kansas State (4/24).
•Went 4-for-4 with one walk, two doubles, five runs and two RBI against Texas State (4/28).
•Played in 18 games for the Beatrice Bruins of the M.I.N.K. League over the summer, hitting .158 with six runs and three RBI.
HIGH SCHOOL
· A four-year letterwinner and two-year captain as a second baseman, shortstop and third baseman for Coach Russell Houston at McCallum High School in Austin, Texas.
· Batted .505 with 48 runs, 48 hits, 15 doubles, one triple, three home runs and 24 RBI to earn second-team Class 4A All-State honors from the Texas Sports Writers Association as a senior.
· Selected to the Round Rock Express All-Star team and Rawlings All-Star team as a senior.
· Played in the 2008 Austin Area Baseball Coaches Association All-Star Game.
· Three-time All-CenTex selection.
· Batted .442 with 39 runs, 38 hits, eight doubles, two triples, two home runs and 29 RBI to earn all-district 2B as a junior.
· Hit .376 with 30 runs, 32 hits, five doubles, one home run and 14 RBI to earn all-district SS as a sophomore.
