• Earned his first career save retiring the only batter he faced versus Stanford (3/4).
• Pitched a scoreless 2.0 innings of relief and striking out three to garner the save against Stanford (3/5).
• Logged 3.2 inning of scoreless relief allowing only one hit and striking out six to earn his first win against UTSA (3/8).
• Tossed 2.0 perfect innings in relief with two strikeouts to earn the save against Brown (3/12).
• Struck out the side in a perfect relief appearance against Texas State to garner the save against Texas State (3/15).
• Earned his fifth save of the season pitching a perfect inning in the series opener against Kansas State (3/18).

• Recorded his 17th save of the season, pitching 1.2 innings, allowing only one hit in the NCAA Baseball Austin Regional against Princeton (6/3).
• Pitched two scoreless innings with three strikeouts against Arizona State (6/11)
• In 3.1 innings of work he recorded two saves, three strikeouts and allowed only one hit in the NCAA Baseball Super Regional against Arizona State (6/10-12).
• Threw one inning only allowing one hit with one strikeout against Florida (6/18).
HIGH SCHOOL
• Earned one varsity letter as a pitcher for Coach Danny Wallace at Georgetown High School and three letters for Coach Ben Gittenger at Bastrop High School.
• Posted a 9-2 record as a senior at Georgetown to earn first-team all-district recognition.
• Tabbed All-District Rookie of the Year and won his school's Cy Young award as a freshman, and was also named All-District MVP and Bastrop High School's Silver Slugger as a sophomore.
• Played for six years in the Austin Wings Select Baseball organization under Coach James Ellison and helped his team win the National Championship in 2009.
• Named Bastrop High School's basketball MVP as a freshman.
PERSONAL
Born Corey Knebel on November 26, 1991...son of Melissa and Jeffrey...has one younger brother, Gatlin...is interested in majoring in math and education.
