• A three-year varsity letter winner as rightfielder and shortstop at Randall High School in Canyon, Texas.
• Hit .470 with 60 RBI, 11 home runs, 55 hits, 14 doubles, 5 triples and 12 stolen bases as a senior.
• Earned all-state and first-team all-district as an outfielder during both senior and junior years.
• Batted .514 with 51 RBI's and 8 homeruns as a junior.
• Tabbed an all-district outfielder and 1st team with a .357 batting average and 3 home runs as a sophomore.
• Garnered the 2010 Happy State Bank Baseball Player of the Year, 2009 Panhandle Sports Hall of Fame baseball Player of the Year, 2009 All Area Code, 2009 Globe News Player of the Year, 2009 Sun Belt Classic and 2009 Texas Rangers Area Code Team all during summer play.
