•A three-year varsity letterwinner as a first baseman and outfielder for Coach Tommy Elliott at Arlington Heights High School in Fort Worth, Texas.
•Named Third Team Class 4A All-State by the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association and Class 4A All-State Honorable Mention by the Texas Sports Writers Association, as well as being named first-team Super Team by the Fort Worth Star Telegram as a senior.
•Helped the Jackets to a 7-4A bi-district championship as a junior.
•Named team's seccond-team Super Team and district newcomer of the year and helped team to a 7-4A bi-district title as a sophomore.
