We are excited for the upcoming year and we would like to take this opportunity to inform you about a program we have planned this season and would like to ask for your support.

This season, Texas Women's Basketball will host the second annual 40 Acres Field Trip as an event designed to reward deserving Central Texas students in grades 4, 5 and 6 with a trip to campus. In order to make the program a success, we needed to choose a date that would work for schools and move the tip time accordingly. To that end, we scheduled the event around our game against Texas A&M – Corpus Christi on Friday, November 30, 2012. An 11:00 a.m. tip time allows us to include as many schools as possible and create an environment that will ensure the students have a positive experience on campus.

While your support is also imperative to the success of this community endeavor, it is equally important that you enjoy the same benefits and customer service you have come to expect as a season ticket holder. For that reason, for this game only, we are asking all season ticket holders to move into designated sections. We feel this will provide a buffer between you and an enthusiastic, and potentially very loud, student crowd. Parking will not be affected for this event.

We are thrilled to reach out to the community in this way, but we are even more excited to have our season ticket holders sitting together for this event and show our next generation of fans how Texas fans make us proud.

Again, thank you for your support. We look forward to seeing you throughout the season at the Frank Erwin Center.

Sincerely,
