As Texas fans, you have one of the loudest voices in the nation, and we encourage you to call your cable providers to request the Longhorn Network.

In its first year, Longhorn Network produced more than 200 live athletics events, with more than 150 hours of original Texas Football content. Longhorn Network has the award-winning quality the world has come to expect from ESPN.

Unfortunately, the business of TV distribution is not a one-day decision. It's a slow-moving process, but it will happen. The Big Ten Network started slowly, as did the launches of ESPN2 and ESPNU.

Longhorns fans have the power to make the difference. It will take all of you calling continuously (and politely) to tell your cable providers you would love to see Longhorn Network on your television.
