An Honorable Mention All-Big 12 selection ... started all 31 matches at setter ... with Moriarty at the helm, Texas finished fourth in the nation and led the Big 12 in hitting percentage (.305) … the team's .305 attack percentage was the program's best ever season-ending mark … UT hit higher than .400 in seven matches, and .350 or higher in 15 matches ... averaged 14.21 assists/game in the 5-1 system, a mark that would rank fifth nationally ... had a double-double in her first-career match - against SMU (9/3) - with 29 assists and 10 digs … also had her first collegiate kill against SMU ... had a then-career-high 41 assists in the victory over LSU (9/10) and again at Baylor (9/15) ... set new career highs with 60 assists and four aces in the team's 3-2 victory over Colorado (9/18) ... had eight digs and 40 assists, with two aces, in the team's victory over No. 21 Kansas (9/25) ... added 58 assists and eight digs against No. 5 Florida (9/29) as Texas hit .305 for the match, the first time all season a team hit over .200 against the Gators ... had 43 assists, six digs and a career-high five blocks at Texas Tech (10/6) ... had 48 assists as UT hit .364 at No. 16 Kansas State (10/9); also added the team's only two aces, and two kills, four block assists and four digs in the victory ... had a double-double with career highs in both assists (62) and digs (11) at No. 20 Texas A&M (10/16) ... again reset career highs in assists (63) and digs (12) against No. 4 Nebraska (10/20) ... had another double-double against No. 18 Kansas State (10/23) with 49 assists and 11 digs, along with a career-high three kills ... reset her career high in assists with 64 at Colorado (11/3) and recorded her fifth double-double of the year with 10 digs ... established new career highs with 77 assists and 13 digs in the team's 3-2 victory over No. 13 Texas A&M (11/11) ... had another 70 assist match at Missouri (11/14) ... had 45 assists and nine digs in the team's 3-0 victory over Texas Tech (11/27) ... had 48 assists as Texas hit .526 - its highest mark of the season and best since 1982 - against Texas State (12/3) in the first round of the NCAA Tournament … had 52 assists and nine digs in the team's loss to eventual national champion Stanford in the NCAA Sweet 16 (12/10).

Full name is Michelle Jaye Moriarty … born April 29, 1986 in Houston … is the youngest daughter of Debbie and Tim Moriarty … has three older sisters: Jennifer (28), Kiki (27) and Courtney (22) … plans to major in business and education … her father played basketball at Rice, while her mother was a member of the volleyball team and cheerleader squads for the Owls … her two sisters were also college athletes as Jennifer was a swimmer at Rice, while Kiki was a volleyball player at Pepperdine.
