In Rotation: What's your favorite comfort food?

Ever have that low-down, can't-shake-it, something's-not-right, depressed feeling and you know that only one certain food (or in some of the UT players' minds, several foods) that can put you in a better mood? We asked the Texas volleyball team what their favorite comfort foods are.

Jen Christian: A Starbucks frappuccino S? and queso from Hula Hut. Unless you need a quick fix for queso, then you can get it at Taco C (Taco Cabana).

Sarah Holloway: I agree with Jen. Queso. When we got back from Europe in May, that's the first thing we ate. But also Blue Bell ice cream, chocolate chip cookie dough. It's "to die for!"

Leticia Armstrong: Chocolate because it sooths the soul.

Bethany Howden: Chocolate, ice cream, birthday cake, Starbucks, brownies, cookies - pretty much whatever is not good for me - washed down with a glass of milk.

Brandy Magee: Gummy worms because I don't like chocolate and I like fruity candies.

Dariam Acevedo: My dad's yellow rice with pork chops to remind me of home.

Lauren Galler: Almond Joy candy bars because I really like chocolate and I really like coconut and almonds. An Almond Joy is the perfect combination of all of that.

Michelle Moriarty: Pretty much any food will do it for me. Chocolate is always good. Chocolate shakes always do it for me. Cheese is also good. My sister also makes really good no-bake cookies. Puppy Chow (a Chex Mix recipe). Pretty much any sort of food puts me in a good mood.

Jenny Andrew: Minestrone soup from Carrabas, then I would eat as much chocolate as I possibly could. Then I would go to Serranos and get queso. Then I'd finish off at Red River Café with all my favorite breakfast foods.

Alyson Jennings: Haagen Dazs chocolate ice cream because it's my favorite kind of ice cream.

Jessica Curtis: Ice cream. Any kind of ice cream.
