Hey, everyone! This is Sarah Holloway, a freshman defensive specialist and libero on the Texas Volleyball team. This year, I've inherited the weekly diary from both Whitney Garvens (who wrote it for the volleyball team in 2003) and from my brother Tillman (who wrote a diary for the UT football team last year). I'll keep you up-to-date on what's happening with the team, both on the court and off. I'll fill you in on our matches and our travels as we go after a Big 12 title in 2004! Dear Longhorns Fans,

I just want to start off my first diary entry by thanking all of you for your awesome support at our Orange and White scrimmage last Saturday. This week we have been preparing hard for our up coming matches against SMU, Cal Poly and Northern Arizona. It is an exciting time to kick off the 2004 season and it's even more exciting knowing that we have awesome fans like you!

Just the other day I was looking through all my pictures from Europe remembering the great times we had and how much we grew as a team over there. Hopefully our team will draw upon the experiences that we had in Europe and use them throughout the season.

This is going to be a short diary, but I am sure that there will be a lot to tell after this weekend. I thank y'all for your support and as always, Hook'em!
