Saturday's match will be the first conference loss for one of the two teams as both opened the conference season with a win on Wednesday.
The Longhorns are 8-0 to open a season for the first time since 1990 when the Horns opened 26-0.
Texas has set two school records so far this - consecutive games won and consecutive games won to start a season - with a string of 24 straight game wins so far in 2004.
Senior Mira Topic recorded her fifth double-double of the season on Wednesday, collecting 17 kills and 14 digs in the team's 3-0 victory over Baylor.
Topic collected her 1,000th dig on Wednesday night and in the process, became the seventh player in UT history to record 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs in her career.
Texas' hitting percentage leads both the Big 12 and the nation (as of the Sept. 14 stats release), and among conference teams, UT's opponents' hitting percentage is the lowest in the league.
