QUICK SETS
The Longhorns are 4-0 to open a season for the first time since the 2001 season. The last time Texas opened up 5-0 was 1999 when the Horns went 6-0 before suffering a loss.
Texas has yet to surrender a game in 2004, winning its four matches by a cumulative score of 12-0. The last time the Horns accomplished such a feat was in 1980 when the team also won its first 12 games of the season.
The Longhorns went 2-1 at last year's Time Warner Cable Texas Invitational, defeating Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (3-1) and UT-Arlington (3-0) before falling to No. 9 UCLA (0-3).

As a team, Liberty averages 10.44 kills/game and 10.00 digs/game. Jennifer Belk leads the team offensively as she averages 4.00 kills/game and is hitting a team-high .112 for head coach Shane Pinder.
