What is the purpose of the Time Warner Cable Longhorn Kids Club?
The Time Warner Cable Longhorn Kids Club is a community outreach effort designed to give children exposure to college-level athletics. The fun, family-oriented atmosphere of UT Athletics allows young fans to see their role models up close. The Longhorn Kids Club provides an affordable opportunity for children to see their Longhorn heroes more often throughout the year and provides a new and exciting way for children to learn from the teamwork and dedication that UT Athletics exemplifies.

What is Time Warner Cable’s involvement with the Kids Club?
They are the founding sponsor and are subsidizing the costs of the club in order to make it all possible.

Is admission to football games included in the membership?
NO. A member receives free admission to all home UT women’s soccer, volleyball, basketball, and softball games, select men’s basketball and baseball games, and all tennis, swimming & diving, and track & field. All events are subject to availability.

Is the membership good for post-season games?
NO. Admission to home Big XII conference and NCAA championships and tournaments are NOT included in the memberships.

How do I know which games are Longhorn Kids Club events?
Each issue of the Kids Club Newsletter and in this site will have the that Kids Club members can attend for free.

How often does the newsletter go out?
This is a quarterly newsletter so four (4) issues will go out each year every three months.

How does a child receive his free ticket at a Kids Club event?
Instructions are on the back of the membership card. A member must present his card to the ticket window on the day of the event ONLY (no early draw) and he/she will receive one free admission ticket.

Do parents/guardians/friends who come with their child have to buy a ticket?
YES. Only kids club members receive free admission. All non-kids club members MUST purchase a ticket. When available, it will be next to your child’s/friend’s seat if purchased at the same time your child/friend draws their ticket.

Is there a maximum/minimum age?
Members MUST BE in the 8th grade or younger due to NCAA recruiting regulations.

How long is the membership good for?
A child’s membership is good for one year from the date of enrollment. EX: If a child signs up on November 11, 2001, his/her membership is good until November 11, 2002.

How can I register my child?
Applications are available at most Longhorn men's and women's athletics events. Printable applications are available. Applications may also be picked up at any Austin-area Rooster Andrews Sporting Goods Store or Regal Cinemas locations. Applications may be mailed to the address on the brochure or faxed in to the number on the brochure.

I have multiple children. Do I have to fill out a separate application for each child?
Yes please.

How will a child receive his/her membership materials?
Upon completion and reception of an application and fee, the t-shirt, membership certificate, membership card, and newsletter will be mailed to the member’s address. Please allow 7-10 business days to receive your Kids Club kit.

What sizes are the shirts available in?
Youth small (6-8), youth medium (10-12), youth large (14-16), adult small, adult medium, and adult large.

Can I pay with a credit card?
Visa, Mastercard, or American Express only.

Who do I make the check out to?
The University of Texas at Austin.

Where does the $20 go?
ALL membership fees are reinvested into the administration and operation of the club and to provide further benefits to its members.
