• Five-time NCAA Coach of the Year
• Teams won six SWC titles
• Head coach of U.S. Olympic teams in 1988, 1996, 2000 and 2004
• Became head coach at Stanford in 1989 and led team to seven more NCAA crowns
• Received bachelor's and master's degrees at SMU
