• Served as a team captain his senior year
• One of only two lineman in the past 42 years to earn team MVP honors
• Was a key contributor to the Longhorns winning the final SWC championship in 1995 and the first-ever Big 12 championship in 1996
• Third round selection in the 1997 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos where he played for eight seasons
• Was a starter for the Denver Broncos during their back-to-back Super Bowl Championship seasons in 1998 and 1999
