• Selected team captain after rushing for three touchdowns and 120 yards in the victory over Nebraska in the Big 12 Championship game
• Ended 1994 season by earning Sun Bowl MVP honors as he rushed for 161 yards and four touchdowns in victory over North Carolina
• Signed as a free agent with the Baltimore Ravens in 1997 and went on to become a three-time Pro Bowl running back for the Kansas City Chiefs
• Despite injuries, he went on to become one of the most prolific individual offensive performers for the Chiefs, owning 10 different career records and eight single-season marks
• Named to the Texas High School Sports Hall of Fame in 2006
