Gigapixel panoramic photo to be taken at Baylor game this Saturday

Oct. 15, 2012

AUSTIN, Texas -- Longhorns fans have the chance to prove they were present at the game on Saturday, Oct. 20 vs. Baylor when the Longhorns Banking Fan Cam, presented by Bank of America, comes to Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium.

Fans should be in their seats just prior to kickoff to participate when an ultra high-definition, 5 billion pixel, 360-degree photo is taken of the crowd.

When visiting www.UTFanCam.com in the days following the game, fans are able to "step inside" the 360-degree gigapixel image and look around, as if they were standing on the field for a frozen moment of time. The resolution of 5 billion pixels is so high that fans are able to zoom in to find themselves or friends, "tag" themselves in the photo, and share via email, Facebook and Twitter. Fans can even cruise around the stadium to see who else was in the stands.

In addition, fans have the chance to be entered to win a VIP in-home tailgate package featuring a 60" LED TV, gourmet 4-burner grill, $2,000 worth of furniture and a home theater system courtesy of Longhorns Banking, only from Bank of America.

Fans can follow updates on www.UTFanCam.com and UT Athletics' Facebook page once the Fan Cam is available for "tagging" on Sunday, Oct. 21.
