Time Warner Cable announced recently the launch of BEVO-D, a video-on-demand channel that exclusively features Texas Longhorns Sports 24 hours a day, seven days a week, in the North Texas area. BEVO-D features classic football games, condensed 2006 season games and interviews with UT coaches and players from a variety of sports.

The channel is available to Time Warner Cable Digital subscribers and includes the weekly Longhorns Sports Center shows, coaches' films, classic games, annual highlights, exclusive interviews and more. New shows are added each week. Digital Cable customers in North Texas can order BEVO-D with their Digital remote for only $3.95 a month.

"Since 2004, Time Warner Cable has been providing BEVO-D service to Longhorns fans with 24/7 programming," said Chris Plonsky, UT Sr. Associate Athletics Director for Men's/Women's Athletics External Services and Women's AD. "The beauty of BEVO-D, and video-on-demand in general, is that fans can select programs to watch at their leisure. The content remains dynamic and fresh, and fans have the opportunity to see many different UT sports teams in action throughout the year."

With the annual meeting of Texas and Oklahoma in Dallas right around the corner, Time Warner Cable felt the time was right to extend the reach of BEVO-D to their newest customers in North Texas.

The monthly cost is $3.95 in addition to fees subscribers pay for their digital service. BEVO-D is available exclusively on Time Warner Cable video on demand.
