Customer Relations Program in place for Football gamedays

Sept. 7, 2010

UT Athletics is eager to serve the many fans who visit Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium on football gamedays. Several services are in place to ensure that all fans can get the most out of the experience.

Customer Relations Program

The Customer Relations Program (CRP) is designed to assist all patrons, and especially those who may be mobility, hearing or visually impaired. CRP offers a shuttle service to and from ADA parking lots before and after each game. These shuttles will run on four designated routes, associated with four specific gate locations -- Gates 1, 7, 16 and 27.

To ride the shuttle to the stadium, look for our clearly labeled golf carts at any point along the route. Attract the attention of the driver, who will be happy to come pick you up. Pregame shuttles will run three hours prior to kick off through the middle of the first quarter.

To ride the shuttle away from the stadium, locate labeled golf cart in the waiting area outside of Gates 1, 7, 16 or 27. Postgame shuttles will run from the beginning of the fourth quarter until one hour after the game ends.

CRP will also staff information stations located inside Gates 1, 7, 16 and 27.

For more information, please call (512) 471-7323 or email CRP@athletics.utexas.edu.

Tag-A-Kid
A football game can be a very crowded and hectic experience -- especially on a UT gameday! To ensure the safety of your child, please use the Tag-A-Kid wristband service, offered at the CRP information stations near Gates 1, 7, 16 and 27. This free wristband provides contact and seat information for your child, in the event that he/she gets separated from your group.

For more information, please call (512) 471-7323 or email CRP@athletics.utexas.edu.

Longhorns Recycling Roundup
During every home football game, the Longhorn Recycling Roundup program collects and recycles plastic cups and bottles. Fans are encouraged to participate in this program by placing their cups or bottles in the gray Coca-Cola shaped barrels or clear, cylinder recycling cans located within the stadium, designated cans and recycling centers on the suite and club levels, and by placing aluminum cans in the complimentary bags that will be distributed within tailgating lots. Last year UT fans managed to collect a staggering 26,385 pounds of plastic. Help us break the record this season!
