The First Annual Soccer School Supplies Drive, held in conjunction with Texas Soccer's home opener on Friday, Aug. 19, was a resounding success. As a result, three barrels of schools supplies were collected through the generosity of Longhorns fans to benefit more than 250 children in Austin.

All supplies collected benefit the Neighborhood Longhorns Program, a non-profit, incentive-based learning program which provides economically disadvantaged youth with the resources to build a strong academic future.

Fans were asked to bring at least five elementary school supplies in exchange for free admission to the Texas Soccer vs. Loyola Marymount match.
