The T-Association is proud to announce it is honoring former Men's Athletics Longhorn Hall of Honor recipients by providing them with the bronze statute now being given to recent inductees.

Prior to 2001, honorees were given a plaque and gold medallion to celebrate their induction into this prestigious group. Beginning in 2001, a bronze statute was created and designed by artist Royce Gilliland to be presented to the annual recipients of the Hall of Honor in lieu of the plaque and medallion.

Thanks to the generosity of UT Athletics, DeLoss Dodds, and Jeff and Carol Heller, these bronzes are now being made. Distribution will occur slowly as the foundry can only produce 25 bronzes at one time. The first shipment of statues will be made soon and the T-Association hopes to have all distributed within the next six months.

Founded in 1957, the Men's Athletics Longhorn Hall of Honor is one of the most cherished athletics traditions at The University of Texas. Inductees are a distinguished circle of individuals who have made a distinct and lasting contribution to The University of Texas.
