With the completion of the 2004-05 athletic seasons, The University of Texas' baseball National Championship capped one of the best years in Texas history. Now, ESPNU wants to celebrate the Longhorns' season by airing a Texas 'Cram Session' on July 11, starting at 10:30 a.m. (Central).
The 'Cram Session' will include over 13 hours of Texas game footage from this season. It will start with Oklahoma's visit to Disch-Falk Field at 10:30 a.m. (Central) followed by footage from the 78th Annual Texas Relays. From there, the women's basketball team will hit the screen with their victory over top-ranked Tennessee.
Men's basketball will take over the broadcast at 4:30 p.m. (Central) with their 'Big Monday' upset of Oklahoma State. Then, it's on to Texas Baseball's national-championship clinching win over Florida in the second game of the CWS Championship Series. That game will lead into the final event of the evening, Texas Football's 22-20 road victory over Arkansas.
During the 2004-05 season, Texas won two National Championships, four Big 12 Championships and had 50 athletes earn All-America honors. In addition, of the Longhorns' 20 men's and women's sports, UT qualified a team for NCAA postseason competition in 19 of them. Texas was also the only athletics program in the country to have its football team play in a bowl game, both of its basketball teams reach the NCAA tournament, and its baseball and softball teams advance to the College World Series.
