Tours are self-guided. The following path is suggested:

  • Start at Gate 1 on San Jacinto, south of 21st St., to see the Earl Campbell statue.
  • From there, head north on San Jacinto and enter Bellmont Hall through Gate 5. In the lobby, there a variety of trophies on display from different sports as well as individual athletics awards.
  • Exit out of Gate 5 and continue north on San Jacinto toward 23rd St.
  • Take a right on 23rd St., and you will see the Red McCombs Red Zone food court at Gates 14 and 16 on your right. Here you can find Big Bertha and Smokey the Cannon on display. This area offers a nice view of the football field. The Tom & Cinda Hicks North Gate and Seal is located outside the Red McCombs Red Zone entrance.
  • After exiting the Red McCombs Red Zone, head east on 23rd St. until you reach Robert Dedman Dr.
  • Turn right on Robert Dedman Dr. and head to Gate 32 where there is another excellent view of the field.
  • The Mike Campbell-Bobby Moses, Jr., Football Trophy Room is located in the Moncrief-Neuhaus Athletic Center and is accessible by Gate 32. This trophy room holds the National Championship and Heisman trophies, among other prestigious awards. The trophy room is open 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
