All University of Texas student-athletes have the privilege of being able to eat in this facility, which is considered one of the best of its kind in collegiate athletics. The dining hall is located adjacent to Jester Center, the dormitory in which many of the student-athletes live. The dining hall was funded in part by a gift from Dallas businessman B. M. "Mack" Rankin, Jr.
