Speed and Explosive Power Camp

Texas Football offers two great summer camps for young athletes interested in building upon their football skills or simply improving their strength and conditoning.

First, there's the Mack Brown Longhorn Football Camp which is open to all young football players between grades four through 12. (High school graduates are not allowed.) Camp sessions are divided by age and ability. The camp is coached by The University of Texas coaching staff and assisted by some of the top high school and college coaches in the country. The staff provides 24-hour supervision for all campers. Parents are welcome at all practices.

The perfect compliment to the Mack Brown Longhorn Football Camp is the Mack Brown & Jeff Madden Speed and Explosive Power Camp. The Speed and Explosive Power Camp is open to all individuals between the ages of 12 and 18. Camp sessions are divided by age and ability and campers learn from the University of Texas strength and conditioning staff, with assistance from some of the top high school and college coaches in the country. The staff provides 24-hour supervision for all campers. Parents are welcome at all workouts.

Both camps utilize UT's many athletics facilities, all of which are considered among the best in the country.

Per NCAA rules, all sport camps and clinics conducted by The University of Texas at Austin are open to any and all entrants and enrollment is only limited based on age, grade level, gender, or number restrictions as specified by each camp.

Parking
UT Parking and Transportation Services
The mission of UT Parking and Transportation Services is to be the national leader in creating the most efficient and respected campus-wide parking, transportation and services programs. As a result, parking is strictly enforced at all times, especially during summer camp. Following are some parking reminders regarding camp. Thank you in advance for adhering to University policies.

• Registration parking: Please park in the Manor Garage (2017 Robert Dedman Dr.; 512/232-1545). Do not carry luggage with you to registration; you will have to make another trip to The Castilian to check into the dorm. Upon entering the parking garage, please bring the white ticket with you to registration for validation.

• The Castilian parking: Be it registration or just visiting your camper, please park in The Castilian parking garage, which is located on the north side of The Castilian at 2323 San Antonio St. At no times should you park curbside of San Antonio St.; you may be cited by the City of Austin. Parking in The Castilian parking garage is complimentary when visiting your camper at the dorm.

• Viewing camp practices: Please park in the Manor Garage (2017 Robert Dedman Dr.; 512/232-1545) when visiting your camper at either Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium or the Frank Denius Fields.

Manor Garage is a "central pay" garage. NO CASHIERS ARE LOCATED AT THE EXITS. Instead, two payment methods are used: (1) central pay or (2) pre-pay. Most times, the garage is central pay -- park your vehicle and take your ticket with you. When you are ready to leave the garage, go to the cashier office before you go back to your vehicle. During some general events on campus, the Manor Garage is a pre-pay garage -- you will pay at the entrance before you drive into the garage. Parking in surface lots on The University campus requires a valid University permit. Parking without the required permit, or parking in the LBJ Library lot (Lot 38) or the Thompson Conference Center lot (Lot 40) will result in the issuance of a citation.

• For more information regarding parking on campus, please visit the UT Parking and Transportation Services web site.
